Roundtable Discussion with U.S. Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission on Hokkaido’s Economy and Japan–U.S. Relations

Today, we had the honor of welcoming the Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy, and participated in a roundtable discussion with top leaders from the business community in Hokkaido.
We had a highly insightful opportunity to engage in deep discussions over lunch on topics such as the challenges of Hokkaido’s economy from both domestic and international perspectives, as well as Japan-U.S. relations in light of the change in administration.
